Our Review Methodology

How we evaluate products — source-attributed, transparent, and clear about what has and has not been tested hands-on.

01

How We Research Products

BenchPicked builds product pages from manufacturer specifications, verified affiliate network data, public user-review patterns, and clearly attributed editorial research. We do not make first-hand product claims unless a product has been physically tested by BenchPicked.

Standard: Hands-on pages are clearly labeled "Tested by BenchPicked" and include timestamped supporting evidence.
02

Source Attribution Standards

Every source-driven page separates manufacturer data, third-party verified information, public user-review consensus, and BenchPicked editorial analysis. Product specifications are attributed to their source, and claim boundaries are stated before a buying recommendation is made.

When hands-on testing is available, the page states what was tested, when it was tested, and what evidence supports the conclusion. When it is not available, the page stays within source-attributed specification and research boundaries.
